Taurus New Moon on May 5th…..New Moon is Wish List time.

Writing down your intentions and desires at this time for bringing peace, fulfillment and happiness into your experience, aligns with the positive forces of this “New Beginnings” phase of the Moon. Whew, what a mouth full. In other words, it’s a great time for creations and growth. Write a maximum of nine or ten of your heart’s desires.

Danger, Danger, Will Robinson………Don’t even waste one of your “heart’s desires” trying to manipulate someone or make wishes for them. It will fall flat. And if you get itchy fingers and want to start writing before May 5th, drop the pencil and step away from the paper. The Moon doesn’t start its building phase until Tuesday 5:18 AM PDT, and you want to be going “with the flow” not against it.

If you want to align your intentions/wishes/desires with Taurus energy, some of them are: personal resources, money, possessions, creativity, self-worth, self-esteem, self-acceptance, self-appreciation, strong values, perseverance, patience, beauty of art, taste of good food, listening to and feeling music, singing, essence of flowers, rich healthy soil for plants, love of nature, animals and the planet, enjoyment of home, appreciation of antiques, interior design, solid foundations, security.

Be You like no one else can. Feel the Love and Enjoy!

Saturn is at 1 degree Virgo from April 14 - May 20, 2008. The energy is strongly focused around May 2nd when it makes its station and turns Direct.

Saturn represents energies such as good organization, hard work, tackling long term projects, setting goals, being cautious, thinking things through and being responsible. These are very helpful energies and if Saturn is aligning with specific points in your chart you may have been experiencing them.

On the down side serious Saturn can also manifest itself as worries, blocks, delays, limitations and loss. Ugh. You may have encountered these energies as well. Of course, all things pass, but Saturn moves too slowly to just wait things out.

“Well, then what do I do?” you may ask.

Easier said than done, I answer, but the end result is worth it.

Incorporate these helpful energies of Saturn into your lifestyle.

  • Define solid goals and work toward them
  • Take responsibility for your own words and actions
  • Treat yourself and others with respect
  • Clear out clutter (physical and emotional)
  • Organize yourself
  • Be the best manager you could have

This will help you establish healthy habits that set you up for success and accomplishment.

For the next couple of days, the Moon is in freedom loving Sagittarius. It’s a great time to enjoy the outdoors, play catch, watch a sunrise or sunset, walk along the beach, hike or bike some trails. Take some time to stop and smell the roses or grab that fishing pole and go out in the boat.

Action packed Mars at 21 degrees Cancer trines unconventional Uranus at 21 degrees Pisces opening opportunities for adventure. There’s an energy in the air for doing something new, different, exciting and unexpected. Things can happen suddenly and without warning so it is important to stay clear headed and aware of your surroundings.

To know where these energies are most likely to impact your experience, check the houses in which they fall in your Natal Chart. Or give me a call and I’ll do it for you.

Or…..just get outside and go dancin’ in the moonlight. Whoo hoo!

Lift and separate….remember the old bra commercial? However, when it comes to life lessons, I figure “lift and separate” is only good for boobs.

Realizing our connection with each other and to other wondrous life forms lifts our hearts and increases joy. Sharing with family, friends, neighbors and co-workers actually has a healing effect on us. So does interacting with animals. Petting the cat, playing with the dog, riding horses, not to mention swimming with the dolphins is all powerfully therapeutic.

I used to take our pot-bellied pig, Eli, to work with me when I worked at a Psychiatric facility. He was a little miracle worker, lifting spirits and making connections with those who were otherwise locked into their own dark worlds.

Obviously lifting and connecting is natural to our being. Lifting our consciousness above the ego level brings unity, peace and joy. It allows us to be in the natural flow.

Personal ego aligns with fear. It requires separation to thrive. To feel right, it must see someone or something else, separate from itself, as wrong. To feel superior, it must find someone/something that is inferior. This sense of separation is a “duality” lifestyle such as: Peace/war, love/hate, praise/blame, win/lose. The personal ego would have us continuously worried about or fighting to be loved, receive praise, be the winner, but ultimately feeling disconnected and not at peace.

Lifting our awareness to the Oneness of life aligns us with Truth. The very essence of our being is Truth, Divine Wisdom. Aligning with our true being is illuminating, inspiring and unifying. Coming together in a heightened sense of Love and community is the peace we seek.

Early Sunday morning, April 20th, the Sun in Taurus spotlights a Full Moon in Scorpio, while forming a Grand Earth trine with Pluto and Saturn. Awesome!

This Full Moon in intuitive Scorpio brings potential for deep personal healing, evolution and transformation. Feel the fullness and power of the true you. Feel the passion that feeds your heart’s desire and dare to take the risks that put your dreams into action.

This far-reaching Grand Earth trine provides opportunities for us, as enlightened individuals, to support one another in very down to earth, practical and substantial ways. Imagine… (I feel a song coming on…) focusing on the similarities of our hopes, dreams and prayers…worldwide. We all want to love and be loved. We want to share laughter. We all want the basic freedoms to live safely, have food, shelter, clothing, and worship according to our highest awareness. We are spiritual beings and Divine Love is natural to us.

Light IS Love and Peace IS Power. We are one multi-faceted Earth community and we can bring dramatic change to our World. Let’s commit ourselves to compassion and Peace.

Whoo hoo! The first New Moon after the Spring Equinox is Saturday, April 5th, 8:55pm PDT at 16 degrees Aries. The New Moon and Aries both represent new beginnings, self-discovery, taking the initiative, coming alive again, and starting fresh.

What a perfect time for our hopes and dreams to blossom. No self-sabotage. No saying “I can’t” or “who me” to our heart’s desire. This is the time to dream and do. Put feet on those dreams. Know who you are and what you want. How do you want to live? How do you want to experience life? How do you want to be of service to others?

Once you know, envision it. See it in your mind’s eye everyday. Play it out, feel the joy, hear the sounds, feel the excitement, see the details, feel the gratitude, breathe it in, and did I say feel? Yes, “feeling” gets your motor running , puts it in gear and gets things rolling.

Consciously create your New Adventure.
