Lift and separate….remember the old bra commercial? However, when it comes to life lessons, I figure “lift and separate” is only good for boobs.

Realizing our connection with each other and to other wondrous life forms lifts our hearts and increases joy. Sharing with family, friends, neighbors and co-workers actually has a healing effect on us. So does interacting with animals. Petting the cat, playing with the dog, riding horses, not to mention swimming with the dolphins is all powerfully therapeutic.

I used to take our pot-bellied pig, Eli, to work with me when I worked at a Psychiatric facility. He was a little miracle worker, lifting spirits and making connections with those who were otherwise locked into their own dark worlds.

Obviously lifting and connecting is natural to our being. Lifting our consciousness above the ego level brings unity, peace and joy. It allows us to be in the natural flow.

Personal ego aligns with fear. It requires separation to thrive. To feel right, it must see someone or something else, separate from itself, as wrong. To feel superior, it must find someone/something that is inferior. This sense of separation is a “duality” lifestyle such as: Peace/war, love/hate, praise/blame, win/lose. The personal ego would have us continuously worried about or fighting to be loved, receive praise, be the winner, but ultimately feeling disconnected and not at peace.

Lifting our awareness to the Oneness of life aligns us with Truth. The very essence of our being is Truth, Divine Wisdom. Aligning with our true being is illuminating, inspiring and unifying. Coming together in a heightened sense of Love and community is the peace we seek.

This Full Moon in intuitive Scorpio brings potential for deep personal healing, evolution and transformation. Feel the fullness and power of the true you. Feel the passion that feeds your heart’s desire and dare to take the risks that put your dreams into action.

This far-reaching Grand Earth trine provides opportunities for us, as enlightened individuals, to support one another in very down to earth, practical and substantial ways. Whoo hoo! The first New Moon after the Spring Equinox is Saturday, April 5th, 8:55pm PDT at 16 degrees Aries. The New Moon and Aries both represent new beginnings, self-discovery, taking the initiative, coming alive again, and starting fresh.

What a perfect time for our hopes and dreams to blossom. No self-sabotage. No saying “I can’t” or “who me” to our heart’s desire. This is the time to dream and do. Put feet on those dreams. Know who you are and what you want. How do you want to live? How do you want to experience life? How do you want to be of service to others?

Once you know, envision it. See it in your mind’s eye everyday. Play it out, feel the joy, hear the sounds, feel the excitement, see the details, feel the gratitude, breathe it in, and did I say feel? Yes, “feeling” gets your motor running , puts it in gear and gets things rolling.

Consciously create your New Adventure.

As April begins….. Pluto, at 1 degree Capricorn, goes stationary retrograde which means it turns direction as seen from Earth. This slow movement magnifies and builds Pluto’s influence.
Power packed Pluto is already intense and as it makes its station we may see an increase in explosions, upheavals, and dramatic changes happening. These can be from the hands of man, but also from earth and nature. As we saw when the Full Moon squared Pluto we had to deal with closures and new beginnings, releasing and renewing. Pluto rules the cycles of life and transforming from the lower self to the Higher.
I’m reminded of the triumphant Phoenix rising from the ashes and the beautiful butterfly resulting from the caterpillar’s transformation. We are moving from our lower ego self to our Higher sense of self by aligning with all powerful Divine Love. Actually it’s a matter of remembering who we really are and our Divine Source. In this way we evolve, transform, ascend.
So I say…..when the (blank) hits the fan, let it be fertilizer for growth….. so to speak.

You may already have started to feel this….

The Full Moon this time is at 1degree Libra, the Sun at 1degree Aries. And both are squaring off with intense Pluto at 1 degree Capricorn.

You can pretty well expect an opportunity to present itself for coming to terms with some deep, emotional and psychological issue involving the structure (Capricorn) of a current or past (Moon) relationship (Libra).

The unconscious is making its way into consciousness, the hidden coming out into the open.That’s a good thing. It’s called Awareness. What you do with it can be very productive.

This friction between inner emotions, outer self-expression and power struggles (Pluto) causes toxins to bubble up from the depths of darkness to be really seen in the Light. Does this sound dramatic? ‘Cause Pluto can bring some drama!
Pluto symbolizes the circle of life - birth, death, regeneration; beginnings and endings and beginning anew. And that goes right along with the “coming full circle” that the Full Moon represents.

The Moon is the yin to the Sun’s yang. It represents the unconscious, receptive, nurturing energy that gives form to the Sun’s creative self-expression.

The zodiac sign of your natal Moon flavors your emotional needs and automatic responses. Earth signs are more grounding and cautious, while air signs are more intellectual and communicative. Water signs “go with the flow” and fire signs inspire and ignite.

Let’s bring those memories of our divine heritage to bear on the present. And with our own Moon flavor, we can use our individual amazing abilities to love and heal our planet and each other.

A New Moon in Pisces, such as this one, 

adds wonderful support to these beginnings in particular: 

• Understanding and forgiving self and others 
• Being compassionate, loving and supportive
• Taking steps to quit addictions and self-sabotage
• Meditating, praying, opening to and trusting in a Higher Power

 No one says we have to do these things alone, whew, thank goodness.

Some of them are pretty tall orders, ok all of them. 

But that’s where the Higher Power comes in. 

Don’t bother trying to force things with human will power.

Remember who you really are, 

the actual expression of Love’s Source 

and move forward in that Light.
